Install ubuntu 14.04 on Asus N550JV.

Summary at the first: It is quiet worth and strongly recommended to install/upgrade ubuntu 14.04 if using any prior version of ubuntu or any version of windows so far.

As a note of my installing process, referring in own risk.

1) Prepare a ubuntu 14.04 live usb disk, followed by here.

2) Set the BIOS option and boot by live usb disk as in 13.10.

3) Follow the beautiful installing user interface and wait for minutes. Then reboot after the prompting.

4) Almost done!
The bluetooth, webcam, wifi, built-in speaker and even external sub-woofer works great now.

5) Fn-Key
Edit the grub file /etc/default/grub by appending "acpi_osi=" to the GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT parameter:
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash acpi_osi="
and then update it:
$sudo update-grub
Finally reboot to make Fn Key works.

6) NVIDIA graphic card
Bumblebee or nvidia-prime would make sense:
$sudo apt-get install bumblebee-nvidia nvidia-331 nvidia-settings-331
or
$sudo apt-get install nvidia-prime nvidia-331 nvidia-settings-331

7) Enjoy the pretty and smooth desktop! Everything works just fine but adjusting space is still left there for customizing.
